After users reported problems with Instagram and Facebook, X owner Elon Musk on Tuesday shared a funny post, taking at rival Meta platforms.
The billionaire said, “If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working.” A few minutes later, he also shared a photo in which penguins with logos of Instagram, Facebook and Threads were giving a salute to a penguin with X’s logo.

Social media platforms Facebook and Instagram are down for thousands of users across the globe.
Facebook users are unable to log into their accounts while those using Instagram are unable to refresh their feeds. 14,864 users reported Instagram outages while 12,103 people reported outages on Facebook in the evening, as per Downdetector.
Besides this, users are facing problems with Threads. As per The Verge, when opening the app, it displays an error message that says “Sorry, something went wrong. Try again.”

Meta spokesperson Andy Stone confirmed that people are having trouble accessing their platforms.
“We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now,” Stone wrote on X.
