CUET PG 2024 Registration Expected to Commence Before December 25, Check Details
Before December 25, NTA will begin the registration process for the CUET for PG courses. The exam will be administered from March 11 till March 28, 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin the online registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 for Postgraduate (PG) programmes soon. As per reports, the application process for CUET PG 2024 is anticipated to commence before December 25 this year. Once the registration process begins, candidates will be able to apply for the entrance exam atcuet.nta.nic.in. “The registration process for CUET PG 2024 will begin before December 25, because the exam is in March. Application forms for CUET UG and NEET UG will not be released this month,” an NTA official said as quoted by The Indian Express. However, the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Jagadesh Kumar has not released any notification regarding the CUET PG 2024 registration yet.

According to the official schedule, the CUET PG 2024 exam will be held from March 11 to March 28 next year. The results will be declared within three weeks of the last exam. The official schedule was released by the National Testing Agency in September 2023. The CUET PG 2024 will be conducted for two hours.

The CUET PG is a computer-based exam. Except for the language and Sahitya papers, the entrance exam is held in English and Hindi. Candidates were permitted to select up to 20 test papers. For the academic session 2024-25, the Common University Entrance Test will be held for candidates seeking admission into UG/ PG programmes at Central and participating universities.

For students taking the CUET PG, there is no maximum age limit. All candidates, regardless of age, who have passed the bachelor’s degree or equivalent exam or who plan to appear in 2024, are eligible to take the CUET PG. Nonetheless, candidates need to be able to meet the age requirements of the university they want to attend.

In 2023, the CUET PG began on June 5, and the results were announced on July 20. A total of 4,59,083 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 2,09,740 were male candidates, 2,493,32 were female students, and 11 were transgender students. As per reports, a total of 1,66,548 candidates were from the General category, 52,088 were from the Schedule Caste (SC) category, 38,767 were from the Schedule Tribe (ST) category, 1,63,807 from the Other Backward Class (OBC) category and 37,873 from Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
