Jawan: Pakistani Star Ali Zafar Praises Shah Rukh Khan, Says 'Blockbusters Are Just Tip Of The Iceberg'

Shah rukh khan and atlee’s jawan has taken the box office by storm within a few days of its release. fans and critics across the country are showering praise on this mega-commercial hit. Not only that, the craze behind SRK’s pan-India spectacle has also taken celebs by storm. From Allu Arjun to Mahesh Babu, Anupam Kher to Shekhar Kapur, everyone is singing praises for King Khan. While India celebrates the success of Jawan, Pakistani celebs too have some nice things to say about Shah Rukh Khan. Joining the bandwagon of celebs hailing Jawan, singer and actor Ali Zafar penned a note for SRK.

The Dear Zindagi actor took to his X(formerly Twitter) handle to write his thoughts on Atlee’s magnum opus. He wrote, “My personal observation about @iamsrk. He has a lot more to offer in his heart and being than the world has seen. Blockbusters are just the tip of the iceberg. They don’t define him. His intellect and experience does.”

Earlier in the day, Shershah actor Sidharth Malhotra too echoed his appreciation for Shah Rukh Khan on X, “Packed theatre with clapping and whistle sounds, enjoyed the festive atmosphere while watching @iamsrk sir do his magic. Big congratulations to sir, @Atlee_dir, #Nayanthara, @VijaySethuOffl, @deepikapadukone, and the entire #Jawan team! ,” he wrote. Shah Rukh Khan promptly responded to his post with gratitude. He replied, “Thank u my man…. Happy u enjoyed the film. I know how much u have loved me from the days we worked on My Name is Khan. Big hug!!! Catch up soon…”

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has become the biggest blockbusters of all time. Ever since its release, the Atlee directorial has been ruling hearts, headlines and of course, box office. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Sanya Malhotra, who is also a part of Jawan, was asked if there is an extended cut of Jawan. The actress shared, “That shows how much people love the film and are invested in all of us.”

“I would, as an audience, like to see an extended version as well and I hope they come out of it,” Sanya added. The actress further spilled the beans about Jawan’s sequel and said, “If not that, I hope they make Jawan 2 and cast me in it”.

On the day of Jawan’s release too, Sanya shared a video on her Instagram handle in which she was seen recreating Shah Rukh’s iconic pose from Mitwa in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. The video was captured during the shoot of Aamir Khan’s Dangal in which Sanya played the role of wrestler Babita Phogat. “Itni shiddat se maine ye manifest kiya hai, ki har zarre ne ye fulfil karne ki saazish ki hai. Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai,” she had written in the caption of the video.

Earlier too, in a recent interview with Indian Express, Sanya Malhotra had confessed that it was her dream to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. “I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Before this I would give some really weird answers every time I was asked whether I am in Jawan or not. I always hoped to work with SRK one day, so it is a dream come true. I cannot wait to see myself around him… it is a dream role, a dream film. Just to be around him makes me really happy,” she told the news portal.

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film is inching close to the Rs 300 mark at the box office.
