When Ryan Reynolds Used To Send Bouquet To Girlfriend Blake Lively Every Week

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are undoubtedly one of the most stunning couples around, proving their “match made in heaven” status. Twelve years of marriage and four kids later, their love for each other remains as strong as ever. While they generally keep their private lives away from the spotlight, they occasionally open up with charming stories from their decade-long romance. In a recent chat with People, Blake Lively reminisced about their early dating days, revealing that she used to receive a delightful bouquet of flowers every week from Reynolds.

“When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week. He would also send a card and write something funny or emotional that one of us said,” she said. Lively shared how they would often share funny incidents from their daily lives with each other, describing it as a “beautiful and romantic thing.”

“It was just like, someone who sees you or remembers a funny story. I would tell him something funny that happened in my day or something sweet we said or something we had to look forward to, and it was always just, like, a little five words, seven words, like, a little quote of our week. And then we had 4,000 children,” she explained while laughing.

Well, this is the only time the Gossip Girl alum has spoken about her husband. Earlier, after receiving the American Cinematheque Award in 2022, the actress opened up about how Reynolds would “always come back” to his family, whether it was from across the globe or from a meeting across the street. “And that man races back to his real life like nothing I have ever seen, especially not by someone who’s able to be so all in his work and life,” she said.

Lively and Reynolds met on the set of Green Lantern in early 2010. After dating for a brief period of time, they got married in September 2012. The couple went on to welcome four kids, including three daughters and a son.
