Venom: The Last Dance’s Runtime Revealed, Find Out The Length Of Tom Hardy’s Final Act
Tom Hardy's highly-anticipated Venom: The Last Dance will mark the final chapter of the Venom trilogy.

Tom Hardy’s much-anticipated return to the big screen as Eddie Brock in Venom: The Last Dance is almost here with the movie set to hit theatres in just two weeks. Fans are buzzing with excitement to see how the final chapter of the Venom saga plays out. Recently, the official runtime of the film was revealed — the movie will run for 110 minutes (1 hour and 50 minutes), including credits. This places it close to the original Venom (2018) at 111 minutes and much longer than Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), which had a runtime of 97 minutes. Comparatively, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe films like Morbius (2022) ran for 1 hour 44 minutes, while Madame Web (2024) extended to 1 hour 56 minutes.

Venom: The Last Dance marks the conclusion of the Venom trilogy, bringing Eddie Brock’s journey full circle. Across the films, we’ve witnessed Brock’s transformation from an investigative journalist to the host of the powerful alien symbiote, Venom. The first film saw Eddie unearth a dangerous conspiracy led by the Life Foundation, eventually teaming up with Venom to take down its ruthless leader, Carlton Drake. In the sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie and Venom’s bond is put to the test as they face off against the menacing Cletus Kasady, a psychotic killer who becomes the host for another dangerous symbiote, Carnage.

In Venom: The Last Dance, Eddie Brock and Venom are pushed to their limits as they go on the run, pursued by enemies from both Earth and the cosmos. On one side, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character leads a relentless military hunt for the duo, while in space, they face the terrifying Knull, the God of the Symbiotes and Lord of the Abyss. The stakes have never been higher, with the official synopsis teasing a climactic showdown: “The duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance." This epic conclusion promises to be an unforgettable chapter in the saga.

Alongside Hardy, Venom 3 features a star-studded cast, including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Alanna Ubach, Peggy Lu and Stephen Graham. The film also marks the directorial debut of Kelly Marcel, who co-wrote the screenplay with Hardy after writing the scripts for the first two movies.

The film’s production team includes Avi Arad (Borderlands), Matt Tolmach (Morbius), Amy Pascal (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Hutch Parker (The Wolverine), with Marcel and Hardy also involved in the production.

Following the success of Venom, which made $856 million, and Let There Be Carnage, which earned $502 million, this final chapter aims to wrap up the trilogy on a strong note. Venom: The Last Dance releases in theatres on October 25.
