Sir Paul McCartney Has The Sweetest Birthday Wish For Former Bandmate Ringo Starr
Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr together have given the world some of the most memorable classics and groovy tracks.

Musician and songwriter Ringo Starr just turned 84 and Sir Paul McCartney, his friend and former band member has sent him the warmest wishes on this day. The two iconic musicians have been friends for a long time as well as have been members of The legendary rock band The Beatles. Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr together have given the world some of the most memorable classics and groovy tracks. Ringo Starr, whose real name is Richard Starkey, celebrated his birthday yesterday, on July 7th. On the occasion, Sir Paul McCartney shared an old photo of himself with the musician.

In the photo, McCartney, 82, and Starr can be seen laughing together. Along with his friend, he also wished his late father as his birthday falls on the same date. The Let It Be artist also shared a monochrome photo of his father, in front of their home. “Happy birthday to Ringo and to my Dad!” read the caption of the photo. “Hope Sir Richard Starkey has a fabulous day,” he added.

Ringo Starr’s birthday also brings the annual Peace and Love celebration. This grand party that takes place in Los Angeles witnesses several legendary celebrities from the past as well as contemporary ones. This year, Ringo Starr will welcome Joe Walsh, the former member of another legendary band called Eagles, along with comedian and actor Fred Armisen and actor Ed Begley Jr.

To thank his fans for their wishes and to discuss more about the event, Ringo Starr shared an Instagram post last week, which said, “OK Peace & Love here we go again! Thanks for joining me on my birthday. I am so grateful to you all for helping me promote Peace & Love. I want to give special thanks to all the Peace & Love Ambassadors – we are in 34 countries! thanks for doing it – and I gotta thank all the fans, peace & love – just join me in your mind, or on the bus or wherever you are on the 7th of the 7th just go Peace & Love at Noon your local time.”

The event will reportedly also have tribute performances by Gabe Witcher, Willie Watson, Ben Harper, Gregg Bissonette, Ben Dickey Steve Dudas, Greg Leisz and Don Was.
