Preity Zinta Reveals Trying IVF Before Welcoming Twins Via Surrogacy: 'I Just Wanted to Bang My Head...'
Preity Zinta opned up about her attempt at IVF. The actress welcomed her twins via surrogacy.

Preity Zinta revealed she tried to get pregnant through IVF (In vitro fertilization). In a new interview, Preity confessed she gave IVF a shot and underwent a few turbulant days. Preity and her husband, Gene Goodenough, evntually welcomed their children, twins Gia and Jai, through surrogacy.

Speaking with Vogue India, Preity was talking about her chirpy personality when she spoke about her tough days, especially during the her days trying IVF. “I have good days and bad days just like everyone else. Sometimes it’s a struggle to always be happy-go-lucky in real life, especially when you’re going through a tough phase. I used to feel like that during my IVF cycles,” she shared.

“It was very difficult to be smiley and nice all the time. Sometimes I just wanted to bang my head on the wall and cry or not talk to anybody. So yes, it has to be a balancing act for all actors,” Preity added.

Preity and Gene welcomed their twins in November 2021. At the time, sharing the news of their kids, Preity said, “Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family.”

“A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey. Loads of love and light – Gene, Preity, Jai & Gia,” she added at the time. The family currently lives in the US. The children often spend time with Priyanka Chopra and her daughter, Malti Marie. Preity had brought the children to India a few months ago.
