Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s declaration that Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes will be considered invalid by midnight on Tuesday, had many – including celebrities – take to Twitter to express their elation. From megastars Rajinikanth and Big B to Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra – all stars hailed Modi's decision to counter black money. But what is note-worthy is that PM Modi replied to each of the tweets to express his gratitude for their support.
