Shiv Thakare, known for his participation in reality shows like Bigg Boss 16 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, continues to win the hearts of his fans. Today, on Maharashtra Day and Labour Day, Shiv Thakare decided to pay tribute to the Mumbai Dabbawala service workers. Donning their iconic attire of a standard cap and white kurta, Thakare rode a bicycle to the spot where the Dabbawalas gather in Mumbai. He spent the day with the hardworking workers, assisting them in loading tiffins onto carriers and even joining in the delivery process to customers.
In the video, Thakare receives a warm welcome from the dabbawalas, with one worker offering him water to beat the scorching heat. Shiv Thakare proceeds to greet each worker before assisting in loading tiffins into the carriage for delivery to customers. As he embarks on deliveries, customers are pleasantly surprised to see him handing over their meals. Sharing the video, Thakare expresses, “Happy Maharashtra Day and Labour Day. Jai Maharashtra. Salute to your hard work and dedication. Dedicating this Labour Day to these unsung heroes who work tirelessly all year around. It was well worth it to see a smile on their face.”

Following Shiv Thakare’s Instagram post, his followers inundated the comments section with love and praise. Notably, his former Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant and close friend Abdu Rozik also showed his support by leaving multiple heart emojis in the comments.
Apart from his appearances on Salman Khan’s reality show and Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, Shiv Thakare was also part of Roadies. Although he didn’t win the show, his participation in Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 gave him much deserved fame and he emerged as the winner of the season. Most recently, Shiv Thakare appeared on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, where wildcard contestant Manisha Rani took home the winner’s trophy.
