Kareena Kapoor Khan took a trip down memory lane to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film Yuva. In the film, Kareena played Mira and won hearts with her earnest performance. On the special occasion, the actress shared a rare photo from her old days and we can’t stop gushing over her.
In the throwback picture, we can see Kareena letting her natural beauty shine through in a clean girl avatar. Dressed in a simple white top, the Crew actress effortlessly spread magic with her years-old picture, seemingly captured on the sets of the film Yuva. Reminiscing the times when the film was released, Kareena wrote, “The Days of Innocence.” She also accompanied the post with a song titled Khuda Hafiz from the same film.
Mani Ratnam’s directorial film boasted a star-studded cast with Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Esha Deol playing the lead characters. Released in 2004, Yuva delved into the interconnected lives of three young men who came from diverse backgrounds. Set against a political backdrop, the film explored various themes around youth, love, and societal change. Such was the impact that the film was later remade in Tamil with the title Aayutha Ezhuthu. The Tamil version of the film starred Suriya, R Madhavan, and Siddharth in the lead roles.
As for Kareena, the Bollywood diva was last seen in the heist-comedy film Crew alongside Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Besides, the film also featured Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. Directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, the film garnered considerable acclaim upon its theatrical release. It is available for streaming on Netflix.
Next up for the Jaane Jaan star is The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta. However, the release date of the film has been kept under wraps. Besides, she is set to hit the big screens with Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe film Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn. The most awaited project features a stellar ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
