Karan Johar’s New Reality Show The Traitors To Have Jannat Zubair, Harsh Gujral And Raftaar As Contestants? Here’s What We Know

Donning the hat of a host again, Karan Johar is returning with a new reality show The Traitors. An Indian adaption of the American game show, The Traitors will feature an intriguing group of celebrities, adding to its hype. Reports suggest that the filmmaker has reached Jaisalmer to shoot the show and the first promo has already been shot. Further, the names of the contestants expected to be a part of the show have also been rolling out.

Pinkvilla, in one of its reports, revealed that comedian Harsh Gujral and popular influencer Jannat Zubair will be a part of The Traitors. A source, while speaking to the portal, also confirmed that actor and model Sahil Salathia along with Ashish Vidyarthi, known for his roles as villain in Bollywood films, will also be joining the anticipated reality show. Additionally, the induction of rapper Raftaar and fashion critic Sufi in the same adds to the excitement. If that is not enough, fans will also get to see renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra in the project.

The source close to the development confirmed to the portal that Karan Johar’s show is being shot at Hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer and it will reportedly last for 14 days. Divulging the concept, he added that it revolves around good versus evil where the contestants will have to showcase their survival skills. The participants of the show will be divided into two groups: good citizens and the Mafias. As per the source, The Traitors will have “a lot of twists and turns.”

The list of contestants also includes Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey and Anshula Kapoor. However, an official confirmation of their participation is yet to be made.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is keeping busy with the upcoming releases— Devara and Jigra. Starring Jr NTR, Devara is set to arrive in theatres on September 27. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt’s Jigra will be released theatrically on October 11. The interesting lineup of the filmmaker’s upcoming projects also includes Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. He is also working on another untitled film, starring Akshay Kumar. Apart from these ventures, he will also be directing an action film with a young star.
