Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, has chosen a life away from the glitz and glam. At 26, she has carved a niche for herself in the entrepreneurial and business sectors. She is also an active participant in social activism, trying to build a gender-equal world. Recently, Navya dropped a series of pictures on Instagram, documenting how she spent her last week. Among the carousel, she also shared a snap of a pile of CAT (Common Admission Test) books. As soon as social media users stumbled upon the post, speculations were on the rise that Navya was preparing for an MBA degree.
“The Last week”, captioned Navya Naveli Nanda. The third slide that caught the special attention of the masses featured two CAT books by Arun Sharma. The first one was Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, while the other belonged to the quantitative aptitude category. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning books were also displayed on the table. An official guide of NMAT by GMAC could also be spotted in the pile, alongside notebooks. Although Navya’s caption did not indicate whether she was preparing for a management course, the picture surely raised some eyeballs.
The series of clicks also included Navya Naveli Nanda taking a mirror selfie at an elevator, followed by two colourful graphic T-shirts. She took some time out from her work commitments and enjoyed a baking session. The star kid poured maple syrup into a spoon and in front of her was a flour-filled bowl. The last photo captured her at a restaurant, holding a food menu. She wore a red ribbed cardigan and denim jeans, flashing a beaming smile at the camera.
Commenting on her daughter’s post, Shweta Bachchan asked, “What did you bake? I didn’t get to eat this!! Why?”. A curious user wanted to know, “Are you preparing for CAT? Because I can see Arun Sharma’s books.” Another commented, “Why CAT Navya? You can take the GMAT and go to any big US b-school?” The author of the CAT books, aka Arun Sharma, also marked his presence in the comments section and wrote, “Hope you liked the Books”.
