“The creative energy is unmatched, the people are incredible, and every session leaves you more inspired than the last. Whether you’re here for the talks, the food, or the fan zones, one thing’s for sure: you won’t want to miss a single moment of this celebration of brilliance and creativity!” the post’s caption read.

Prior to his visit to India, Gordon shared his excitement and said, “It feels surreal to be able to visit India for the first time. I have been a fan of Indian music and culture and have also engaged with Indian creators. Being invited to speak at the 14th season of IFP is truly an honour. The rise of independent cinema, storytelling, and art in India fascinates me. There’s something captivating about how its rich history blends with the world of film and music. I’m excited to experience this vibrant creativity firsthand at IFP.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt With Rajkummar Rao

In the meantime, the Inception actor also took part in an interesting session with Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, where he was seen trying some desi moves on Stree 2’s Aayi Nai and Chogada Tara from Loveyatri. Elsewhere in the session, Gordon shared his thoughts about Indian films and highly praised Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

“It was different than anything I’d seen, as it was a very heavy, distinguished drama that almost felt like a Scorsese movie at times. Then there are these gorgeous musical numbers that felt so sincere and well-rounded. I found myself completely enamored with this film, which made me want to learn more and more about Indian cinema,” he said.
