Housefull 5: Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Soundarya Sharma Confirmed As Female Leads?

Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar are all set to continue the legacy of their iconic ‘Housefull’ franchise with ‘Housefull 5’. Taking a fresh approach, the fifth installment will be set aboard a cruise, packed with quirky, mysterious, and crooked characters. The makers have repeatedly promised that this will be the biggest ‘Housefull’ film yet, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has assembled a massive ensemble cast for this comic extravaganza. The male cast includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, and Dino Morea, among others. According to a Pinkvilla report, the film will also feature five female leads.

Insiders have revealed that Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, and Soundarya Sharma will star in ‘Housefull 5’. “It’s a cruise full of characters, and every character is a part of the film for a reason. Sajid Nadiadwala has been very sure to get the casting right, and the gang of ‘Housefull 5′ is now locked. It’s the biggest ensemble set up ever pulled off by a producer, and the team is excited to embark on this fun ride,” shared a source.

The source also confirmed that the movie will begin filming on September 15 in London, kicking off a 45-day marathon schedule. “They’ll start with some sequences in London and then move to the cruise, where the entire house will descend into confusion and laughter. Besides the key actors mentioned, there are many more supporting roles, amplifying the madness the makers aim to bring to the screen,” the source added.

After London, the team will return to Mumbai for another schedule later in the year. “’Housefull 5’ is on track for its planned release on June 6, 2025, aligning with Bakri Eid. Sajid is determined to stick to the Bakri Eid 2025 weekend,” the source confirmed. The film will bring Akshay Kumar back in his signature comic style, with a character trait expected to stand out as much as his memorable ‘Housefull’ roles, Sandy and Sundi. “Wait for it, the trait is as hilarious as Sandy and Sundi,” teased the source.

‘Housefull 5’, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, is slated for release in 2025.
