First Look Poster Of Dhananjaya-starrer Kannada Film Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Out
The film’s tagline describes Kempegowda as the ‘Visionary Warrior Of Bengaluru.’

Kannada actor Dhananjaya is currently basking in the success of his latest release Kotee. It was written and directed by Parameshwar Gundkal. The film marked the entry of Jio Studios in the Kannada film industry. Dhananjaya, also known as Dalli Dhananjaya, is set to make this year his own by giving back-to-back hits. The actor garnered headlines after he was selected to play the role of legendary Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the founder of Bengaluru on the big screens. After years of planning and research, the critically acclaimed director TS Nagabharana is set to bring the legendary life of Kempegowda to theatres. The makers have now released the first look of the film.

Titled Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the film stars Dhananjaya in the titular role. He can be seen holding a shield near his face and has a tika on his forehead. The actor looks ferocious in the first look poster of the film. TS Nagabharana considers this project his dream. He registered the title with the Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) some time ago. The film has a tagline which describes Kempegowda as the ‘Visionary Warrior Of Bengaluru.’

The film is produced by Dr MS Shivrudrappa and Shubham Gudala under the Ishvara Entertainment and Daalo Pictures banner. He has been assisted by notable contributors in conceptualising the film. Pratibha Nandakumar and researchers Prof Siddhalingaiah Kambalu, Dr H S Gopa Rao, Professor Chandrasekhara Ushala and Dr Hangy Rajesh are some of the researchers who helped in detailing the film.

“Historical unveiling of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. Magnum opus project of Kannada history. The Bengaluru’s Historical Saga begins!” wrote Dhananjaya while unveiling the first-look poster of the film.

The music of the film is composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, while the cinematography is done by Advaitha Gurumurthy. Dhananjaya will be joining the sets of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda film after completing the filming of Uttarakaanda and Anna From Mexico.

Uttarakaanda is an upcoming Kannada film helmed by Rohit Padaki, starring Aishwarya Rajesh along with Dhananjaya. It will also star Shiva Rajkumar in the prominent role.
