After Shahid Kapoor’s unrecognizable rockstar avatar as Tommy Singh, the makers of ‘Udta Punjab’ have unveiled another character’s first look. It’s definitely a fun way to keep the excitement alive and maintain the buzz around this upcoming film.
By the looks of it, Diljit Dosanjh’s cop avatar Sartaj Singh seems to be intriguing. Diljit, who posted the teaser video on twitter captioned it as, “Baat Apki Aur Meri Nhi Hai. Yeh Baat Hai PUNJAB Ki #SartajSingh #UdtaPunjab http://bit.ly/UdtaDiljit @balajimotionpic @FuhSePhantom."
While Shahid and Diljit’s characters have already got our expectations high, it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store for Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor’s fans. ‘Udta Punjab’, a neo-noir drama thriller, dealing with substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab is slated to release on June 17, 2016.
