Dharmendra Calls Shah Rukh Khan 'Beta', Holds Him Close In New Post: 'Maalik Ka Hamesha Ehsaan Iss...'

Veteran actor Dharmendra has a fondness for Shah Rukh Khan, which he often expresses on social media. He has now dropped a throwback photo with Shah Rukh in which he could be seen handing over an award to him. Dharmendra called Shah Rukh his son and thanked his god for his fate.

Dharmendra held Shah Rukh close in the photo and both superstars were all smiles at the award show. Dharmendra mentioned that all actors are like his sons. He wrote, “Bete hi hain ye sab ….. Maalik ka hameesha ehsaanmand hoon iss muqaddar ke liye.” Check out the post here:

Fans of the actors appreciated Dharamendra’s gesture and flocked to the comments section to express their love. Dharmendra, who is one of the most iconic actors in Bollywood, recently starred in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. He featured in the film as Ranveer’s grandfather who is married to Jaya Bachchan but misses his unrequited love with Shabana Azmi. He was also seen as Shahid Kapoor’s grandfather in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He will now be seen in Ikkis with Jaideep Ahlawat and Agastya Nanda.

As for Shah Rukh Khan, the actor was most recently seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. He is now prepping for Sujoy Ghosh’s King with Suhana Khan. Shah Rukh and Suhana will reportedly play parallel leads in the film. According to reports, King is set to depict Shah Rukh in a compelling role as a notorious underworld figure. The movie is a joint production between Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures, adding to the anticipation surrounding this exciting project. Shah Rukh Khan’s line-up of films also includes the highly-anticipated Tiger vs Pathaan with Salman Khan.
