Dhanush's Son Yatra Makes His Debut In Tamil Films As Lyricist With This Song

Dhanush’s son, Yatra, is all set to make his debut in Tamil cinema in his father’s third directorial venture, titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. Now, actor SJ Suryah claimed that Yatra has written the lyrics of the film’s first single, Golden Sparrow. A member from Dhanush’s production house revealed the truth about Yatra’s contribution to the song. SJ Suryah shared Dhanush’s post regarding the first single and revealed that he watched the song starring Priyanka Mohan. Sharing the post on his official Twitter handle, SJ Suryah wrote, “I had the privilege to watch the song with @dhanushkraja sir and pretty @priyankaamohan very cute song… and the way Dir @dhanushkraja pulled a very cute dance from @priyankaamohan. As a cute pretty young Maami is like super & addictive, with simple cute stylish steps, she just rocked in that song, and the song penned by Dhanush sir son #yathradhanush… amazed boy” in the caption.

The poster shared by Dhanush mentioned Arivu as a singer and lyricist. Replying to SJ Suryah’s post, Sreyas, CEO of Dhanush’s Wunderbar Studios, mentioned that Yatra wrote only the four lines in the song. “Sirrr, Arivu brother has written the song, sir, but Yathra wrote only the hook and four lines of the song, sir. Thank you for your sweet words, sir. #GoldenSparrow from August 30th. #NEEK (sic).”

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is an upcoming romantic comedy film written and directed by Dhanush. The upcoming film features Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Sathish, Pavish, Venkatesh Menon, and others in important roles. While Priyanka Mohan will appear in a song, Dhanush is reported to be seen in an extended cameo in the film.

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is jointly backed by Wunderbar Films and RK Productions Ltd. The music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, edited by Prasanna GK, and cinematographer Leon Britto.

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is scheduled for a theatrical release on 21 December 2024. Dhanush was recently seen in the 2024 Indian Tamil-language neo-noir action drama film Raayan. It is directed by Dhanush in his second directorial venture and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. The film earned over Rs 160 crore worldwide, becoming a commercial success at the box office and emerging as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024.
