Last month, an exclusive report by News18 Showsha revealed that they are likely to welcome their baby on September 28. A source close to the couple, affectionately known as DeepVeer, shared, “Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly looking forward to this new chapter in their lives. They’ve been busy preparing a space for their little one, and if everything goes as planned, Deepika will give birth on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay.” The source added that Deepika is currently relishing her break from work and enjoying the journey toward motherhood.
In addition to this joyful news, it has been reported that Deepika will be taking an extended maternity break. Having last appeared in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, she plans to remain off the big screen until March 2025. After her maternity leave, she’s expected to dive straight back into work, starting with the highly anticipated sequel to ‘Kalki’, where she will reunite with stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.
As for Ranveer Singh, the actor is staying busy with a packed schedule. He will soon be seen in ‘Singham Again’, and fans are eagerly awaiting his role in the upcoming ‘Don 3’, which will be directed by Farhan Akhtar and also star Kiara Advani.
