After Deepika Padukone released a short teaser from her upcoming Hollywood debut 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage'; for her co-star Vin Diesel's birthday, the official first trailer for the film was finally unveiled which rather came as a shock to Bollywood fans.
The trailer begins with Samuel L Jackson talking about how the world has changed and how no one feels safe. The video shows many shades of Deepika including her spinning a blade to wielding a gun but for an ardent Bollywood junkie; it's disappointing to see just a miss and blink appearance of the actress.
Responding to a question related to this, the actress asked the reporters at the ongoing FDCI India Couture Week 2016 to be patient. "There's a lot of time, be patient and watch. There are 6 months more for the movie to be released. It's about the return of the film; it's about the return of Xander Cage. So dheere dheere.."
Considering the fact that this film marks the Hollywood debut of the actress, the excitement here is at its peak! Directed by DJ Caruso, the film also features Ariadna Gutierrez, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Donnie Yen and Toni Collette. The film will be released on January 20, 2017.
