Alia Bhatt Congratulates Kriti Sanon For Her First Production 'Do Patti', Says 'Can't Wait To Watch'

Well, amid this, Alia took to her social handle and congratulated Kriti Sanon for her first production, ‘Do Patti’. Recently, the makers released the trailer, and fans are loving the suspense-gripped drama. Kriti Sanon and Kajol starrer Do Patti will be released on the OTT platform on October 25.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Alia shared the trailer and wrote, “Congratulations on your first production! @kritisanon, Can’t wait to watch it.” Do Patti is one of the most anticipated releases of this year. Kajol will play a cop, while Sanon will be seen in a grey role. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Do Patti is backed by Sanon and Kanika Dhillon.

Set in Devipur, Do Patti revolves around a murder mystery laced with suspense, thrill, and drama. Kajol plays a no-nonsense cop who has been assigned to solve a murder mystery. As the trailer progresses, the audience is introduced to Kriti Sanon’s Saumya and Shaheer Sheikh’s Dhruv. The couple is oh-so-in-love, but things go south when Saumya’s twin sister enters the picture and causes havoc in their personal and marital lives. The story revolves around how Dhruv is arrested in the attempted murder case and how Kajol solves the case of the twin sisters.

Do Patti marks the debut of Sanon and Kanika Dhillon as producers. Dhillon said, “Do Patti is a very special project and there is no greater satisfaction than delivering a great story to your audience that is thrilling and interesting. You will be enthralled to see Kriti Sanon in a never-seen avatar and having Kajol who is such a legendary actor was such a great pleasure as a writer-producer.”

Alia Bhatt starrer released on October 11. The film collected Rs 4.55 crore on its opening day. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, collected Rs 16.75 crore in its opening weekend.
