Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is all set to return to his much-celebrated Welcome franchise with the third installment, Welcome to the Jungle. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film will boast a massive star cast featuring actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav, and many others in significant roles.
Ever since the film was announced, it has created a lot of excitement among fans as Welcome to the Jungle promises to take viewers on an adventurous and fun-filled ride. Now a latest update has come to light that the makers of the film will add a grand dance number with all the actors in a single frame.
As the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a bumper package of entertainment, they will now bring the entire star cast to create a grand dance number. With over 30 actors and more than 500 background dancers, the song will be reportedly choreographed by the legendary Ganesh Acharya and composed by Anand Raaj Anand.
If reports are to be believed, the shooting of the song will commence at the end of April at a set, specifically designed for the song in Mumbai’s Goregaon. According to Mid-Day, while the background dancers already began their rehearsals last week, the actors have also started practicing their steps separately with the choreographer and his team to make final preparations. “The director will have a 500-member crew working on the song over seven days during which the actors will shoot their individual and joint sequences,” the report adds further suggesting that Khan expects to wrap the film’s Mumbai leg by May-end.

In September last year, Welcome to the Jungle was officially announced on the occasion of Akshay Kumar’s birthday. Sharing an epic teaser on his Instagram handle, the actor wrote, “Thank you for all the love & wishes. Now, if you liked the Apple Kela, sorry A cappella, here’s another welcome gift for you…Welcome…Welcome…Welcome.”
The film which is said to be a perfect blend of comedy, action, and thrill is scheduled to hit theatres in the Christmas week on December 20, 2024. Reports also suggest that actors Jackie Shroff and Aftab Shivdasani will join the film’s cast.
