4th Wench Film Festival In Mumbai To Open With Toby Poser's Where The Devil Roams
There will be 29 films in three distinct categories this year at the Wench Film Festival.

The eagerly awaited Wench Film Festival (WFF) is scheduled to light up screens from February 29 to March 3, 2024, in a wonderful leap-year surprise. Entering its fourth edition, WFF offers an unmatched exploration of the fantasy, sci-fi and horror genres. Veda Factory, Versova in Mumbai, from March 1 to 3, will be the scene of a cascade of cinematic delights, physical screenings, breathtaking performances and thought-provoking panels.

With her film Where the Devil Roams, which will premiere as WFF’s opening film, actress and filmmaker Toby Poser will be in attendance at the festival. Zelda Adams and John Adams are the co-directors of the movie. There will be 29 films in three distinct categories at this year’s festival. The three distinct categories are:

Blood Thirsty (<60 mins): Discover the depths of narrative in an extended format with these six compelling films that are sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Dwarves (10–40 minutes): Thirteen films in this category demonstrate the variety of storytelling possible in a shorter amount of time, with succinct yet captivating plots.

Elves (<10 mins): 10 short films, each packing a significant punch in less than 10 minutes, are screened as part of the festival, which highlights the art of brevity.

Sapna Moti Bhavnani is the head of WFF's cultural showcase. "I am very excited about the Wench Film Festival, which is in its fourth edition," stated Bhavnani. "It is a singular observance of horror, science fiction, and fantasy that transcends boundaries and uses narrative to unite people worldwide. Wench Film Festival is more than a single occasion. This is the gateway that opens to the amazing," she added.

"It feels like I'm walking into my genre-infused dream when I meet the Wench Film Festival crew and attendees in person in Mumbai- talk about realising a dream! I'm incredibly appreciative to be invited to Wench's entertaining and imaginative realm," said Toby Poser.
