Terming former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa as a ‘clever politician,’ Higher Education Minister C T Ravi brushed aside rumours of Yeddyurappa joining any other party or floating a new one. Admitting to the infighting in the party, Ravi said all the 121 BJP MLAs are with Yeddyurappa but they would not take any hasty decision of leaving the party. He said the former CM would lead from the front as he has the strength to bring the BJP to power again.
“The BJP parliamentary board would take a decision on the party state president issue, but it has directed Eshwarappa to continue in the post till December,” he said. If elections are held now, the BJP will be the clear winner as the government has taken up many development works.
