Woman learner-driver kills two

Mumbai: A 33-year-old woman taking driving lessons killed two persons on the spot when her car ran over them in Mahim on Thursday.

The victims were walking on the footpath early this morning when the car dashed in, killing them on the spot, the police said.

The woman, Asma Sudhir Mada, a practicing clinical psychologist has been arrested by the police and taken for medical examination.

The other person in the car, which Mada was driving has also been held for questioning.

The bodies of victims, who were yet to be identified have been sent to Sion hospital for post-mortem.
