Venu Nairs film to be screened at Ability Fest

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Venu Nair’s film ‘May I Come In’ has been selected for the India International Disability Film Festival, ‘Ability Fest 2011’, to be held in Chennai.  The film tells the story of Maya, who meets with an accident and loses her husband and becomes an amputee. It portrays the physical and mental trauma of Maya, and also how she overcomes her disability and succeeds in life with her unfailing determination and courage. This is a motivational film addressing the disabled across the world to help them face life squarely.  The film is of 39 minutes’ duration and has been written and directed by Venu Nair. Ambilidevi, Santhosh Kurup and Aliyar are in the lead roles. The film will be screened at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai, on October 10 at 4 pm.
