Twin murder accused surrenders

DHENKANAL: One of the accused in the twin murder incident on  Dhenkanal college premises surrendered before Dhenkanal court on Friday. The court rejected Keshu Mishra (26) bail plea and sent him to jail, said Dhenkanal SDPO Brahmananda Dandapat. On December 23, last year, seven persons allegedly attacked two students playing ludoo on the college premises with bhujali.  The victims Kamal Lochan Dalei and Sangram Mohanty succumbed to their injuries on way to the hospital. A day after the incident, Dhenkanal town police seized the vehicle used in the crime and  arrested one Kishore Das from Govindpur village.The police recently submitted chargesheets in court against the culprits.
