Traffic diversion near Ashok Pillar

CHENNAI:  Due to the ongoing Chennai Metro Rail work on 100 Feet Road, the stretch from Pallava Hospital to PTC point will be closed temporarily, for a period of 10 days, starting July 31.
All vehicles heading towards Ashok Pillar from 100 Feet Road, 2nd Avenue Junction will turn left onto 3rd Avenue near Pallava Hospital. They will then take a right turn onto 4th Avenue, where they can proceed straight towards Ashok Pillar. During this period, 3rd Avenue will be a one way, with traffic entering only from 100 Feet Road. Vehicles from 4th and 7th Avenue will proceed towards R3 Ashok Nagar Police Station, and turn left onto 2nd Avenue, through which they will join 100 Feet Road.
