Understanding of godI believe that there is a power above us. I have read somewhere that our ancestors were able to predict the future and connect with god through meditation. Now, we call it Extra Sensory Power (ESP). We say the frontal lobe of our brain is responsible. But we have lost that ability, as we haven't used it for a very long time. Spiritual beliefI believe in spirituality, but not in baseless rituals and practices. If you notice, Tamilians have always worshipped nature. Apart from that, they have paid homage to their ancestors and I believe that’s how the village gods should have come into existence. Spiritual practiceI don’t practice anything specific. When you pray, you tell your brain the things you want to accomplish. You prepare it to work towards the same. I visit temples for the positive vibes.Pilgrimage sitesI'm a devotee of Ramanujar and often visit his temple in Sriperumbudur. I feel energised after visiting the Muthupet Dargah and Kodaikanal church. I also visit a temple in Thirumogur near Madurai and Tanjore. I am waiting for the right time to visit Badrinath and Kedarnath. (Thirumurugan is a director, who is known for his serials like Metti Oli and Nadaswaram)
