Swine flu claims four more lives in Pune

Pune: Four more persons died of swine flu, taking the toll in the viral infection in the city to 31.

42-year-old Vilas Padale and 26-year-old Anil Nikam died of the flu at separate private hospitals on Sunday night along with two babies one a 15 month old and the other a nine month old.

Around 60 suspected cases of the viral infection were admitted to various hospitals in the city on Sunday, official sources said.

As many as 15 patients currently undergoing treatment were in a critical condition, they added.

The toll now stands at 97 deaths across the country.
