KOCHI: The Central police on Tuesday arrested Swami Himaval Bhadrananda on charges of cruelty to animals.The police took him into custody for taking out a procession with a picture of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on top of a calf, at Kacheripady.The picture also carried a caption 'Gomoothrabhishekam'. The police said the calf was oneandahalfmonth old.
