Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said Hyderabad on Thursday that the formation of Telangana state ought to begin only after addressing issues such as water and power sharing between the two states, besides the status of Hyderabad city in future. He also said that all stakeholders who have concerns about bifurcation of the state may voice their views to a four member committee headed by Union Defence Minister AK Antony.
"The problem will be solved by a solution. It should not create a bigger problem. This is my request to the Central government and the committee. Before any decision is taken, these concerns have to be addressed," he said.
Addressing a press conference nine days after the Congress Working Committee announced its decision to form a separate Telangana state, he sounded optimistic that the Central government would move forward, after offering solutions to the above mentioned problems.
