Sreerags lady love put behind bars

BANGALORE: The Mahadevapura police arrested Gayatri alias Jennifer, 23, in connection with the suicide case of software engineer S Sreerag. Gayatri was arrested on Friday and she was produced before a Magistrate, who remanded her in judicial custody.A resident of K R Puram, Gayatri was staying along with her uncle, George, as her parents reside in Jaipur. She was a team lead at Ascon Sales and Service in Indiranagar. Meanwhile, DCP of East division T G Krishna Bhat at  a press conference on Friday,  confirmed that Sreerag committed suicide due to love failure. “Sreerag was very serious about Gayatri, whom he fondly called ‘Jenny Kutty’, as she had given him a false name. Gayatri had sent him a photograph of her friend Sanjotha and claimed it to be her photo. Though she had completed only SSLC, she claimed to be an MBA graduate and was working for IBM. Gayatri had told him that she wanted to become an international fashion designer and hoped to showcase her works in Milan,"  the DCP said.‘‘In the last email, he had asked for her forgiveness as he had  forced her to marry him. She decided to avoid him only after learning it was getting serious, and her decision provoked him to take the extreme step,’’ the police said.
