BHUBANESWAR: City police on Sunday busted a sex racket in Mancheswar area and arrested 17 persons, including six young girls and the queen bee.The special squad of the city police assisted by Mancheswar Police raided Netaji Subas Bose Enclave, a multi-storey apartment this evening following a tip off from an undisclosed sources about the illicit trade.Sunil, the kingpin of the sex racket, is absconding while police arrested the queen bee who has been identified as Priya Majumdar from West Bengal. All the arrested six girls are residents of West Bengal. The raid was conducted under the direct supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Nitinjit Singh. The identity of the 10 males who were arrested from the apartment have been kept confidential. Singh said that all the arrested persons have been detained and they will be forwarded to court after medical examination.
