New Delhi: As many as 190 passengers of a Jet Konnect flight, the low- cost airline, found their luggage “misplaced” when they landed in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Passengers say the airline has failed to fulfill its promise of delivering their luggage by 7 pm on Wednesday. Shrimun Chakraborty, a passenger on flight 9W 2201, told CNN-IBN, “nobody” from the airline has contacted him or apologized.
The airline claimed it had informed the “guests” about their baggage immediately.
“We had to offload some baggage at Delhi due to the payload restrictions necessitated by the restricted runway at Mumbai airport. The baggage was subsequently carried on flight 9W 334 to Mumbai. Guests were immediately informed upon arrival in Mumbai,” the airline said in a statement.
