HYDERABAD: Logistics Interface Park (LIP) developed by the Continental Multimodal Terminals Limited (CMTL) has been notified as a private freight terminal by the South Central Railway (SCR).It is the first of its kind in the country, which has been notified under the new policy initiative of the Indian Railways.CMTL is a joint venture of Continental Warehousing Corporation Limited (CWCL) and Kribhco Infrastructure Limited (KRIL).CWCL of the NDR group is a market leader in private warehousing, which provides customised logistics solutions. KRIL, a fully owned subsidiary of KRIBHCO, is a private container train operator with a pan India licence, according to Suresh Joseph MD and CEO of CMTL.The facility spread over 50 acres has been developed to serve the twin needs of a growing trade and a bustling city with ever increasing traffic restrictions.
