Santosh Hegde interacts with students

BANGALORE: Former Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde interacted with students of Jain University as part of their economics fest titled Frisson 2011. He spoke to students about the Jan Lokpal bill proposed by Anna Hazare’s team and then had an interactive session with them in which he answered all their questions. Justice Hegde expressed confidence that the Jan Lokpal bill would assist in curbing corruption although it might not do away with it completely. Upon being asked which version of the Lokpal bill he supported, he answered that he just wanted a strong bill which would reduce the rampant corruption in India.
