Samvrutha Sunil marries Akhil

Popular Malayalam actress Samvrutha Sunil got married to Akhil, a computer engineer working in the US on Thursday.

The traditional marriage took place in the presence of close friends in the industry and select politicians. A reception will be held Nov 6 at Kochi.

Samvrutha began her short but eventful career in 2004 when she starred opposite Dileep in 'Rasikan'.

Samvrutha has acted in 30 films including popular hits like 'Achanurangatha Veedu', 'Arabikkatha', 'Chocolate', 'Minnaminnikoottam' and 'Thirakkatha'.

This year seven Samvrutha films were released, with 'Diamond Necklace' proving a super hit.

Post marriage, her film career will be now take a break.
