Amy Winehouse reportedly had a reaction to the medications that she was on.
British jazz and soul singer Amy Winehouse has been taken to hospital, her spokesman said on Monday.
He had no further details. British media reported Winehouse was taken by ambulance to the accident and emergency room of University College Hospital from her home.
When asked about the incident, a spokeswoman for the London ambulance service said: "We did take the patient to hospital at about 8.40 p.m.” after being called to an address in North London.
The 24-year-old pop star, whose battle against drug addiction in recent months has overshadowed her recording successes, has a home in Camden, North London.
