Rare display of unity by Congress leaders

TIRUCHY:  In a rare show of unity, several leaders of the TNCC assembled on a single dias at an event, Trifest, in Tiruchy on Saturday. Home Minister P Chidambaram, TNCC president BS Gnanadesikan, Minister for Shipping GK Vasan, former minister EVKS Elangovan, former State leaders KV Thangkabalu, Kumari Anandan and Krishnassamy, S Thirunavukarasar, GR Moopanar, Youth Congress President M Yuvaraj and many more attended. Showing no signs of differences, the united appeal of the leaders to their supporters was to strive to return to power in the State by winning the Assembly polls in 2016. Elagovan appealed to the leaders to keep Congress away from both the Dravidian parties in the State at least for two years.
