Pune: The bodies of all the four advertising professionals who went missing while travelling from Pune to Goa have been recovered from the Neera river in Maharashtra. While one body was recovered on Wednesday evening, three others were found on Thursday.
All the four bodies have been sent for a post-mortem. Police officials located their bodies after finding their car in the river. They say that prima facie it appears to be an accident case.
The four, including a woman, had embarked on a trip to Goa on Friday night and then had mysteriously gone missing. Even the mobile phones of all the four were found to be switched off. The four were identified as Pranav Lele, Chintan Buch, Sahil Qureshi and Shrutika Chandwani.
Police forces of Pune, Satara and Kolhapur districts of Maharashtra launched a massive search for the four after the family of one of them lodged a complaint.
As per the information given by police all four left Pune for Goa to during Diwali vacation. Before leaving for Goa all the four had spoken to their family members.
According to the police officials, they were last seen at the Khed Shivapur toll plaza near Pune.
