CHENNAI: A BMW car (TN 72 AM 8888), which rammed against a median on Haddows Road in Nungambakkam around 11.30 pm on Tuesday, was seized by the police. Soundarapandianar Angadi traffic investigation police traced the owner of the luxury car to an address in Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli district, sources said. Police identified the driver as Akram (18) of Tirunelveli. His brother Gaddafi Malik had purchased the vehicle last year, they said. Akram was arrested under Section 279 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
