KOCHI: Around 12,500 people turned up for the Chief Minister’s Mass Contact Programme held at Kakkanad on Saturday. About 2,400 benefited from the programme. Rs 50 lakh was allocated from the family welfare fund. Under this category, 500 people were given financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each and 700 were given BPL cards. Title deeds were distributed to 250 people in seven taluks. The programme which commenced at 9.40 am concluded by 3.45 am on Sunday.
