BANGALORE: Mayor Sharadamma who returned from New York on Wednesday night, is expected to meet Transport and District-in-Charge Minister R Ashok on Friday along with her team.According to the BBMP sources, Mayor is not happy with the Commissioner’s decision in handing over the multi-crore scam to Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF) in her absence. It can be recalled that Sharadamma had been to New York to attend ‘Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship: City Strategies Programme.’ When contacted ruling party leader B R Nanjundappa, he said that they have called for a meeting on Friday with other Councillors, where they will discuss the course of action. “Minister Ashok has given an appointment for Friday. We will inform the outcome of our meeting later to him,” he said. However, sources from BBMP said that Mayor and her team met Minister Ashok on Thursday, who advised Sharadamma seek clarification from the Commissioner. “Mayor is also holding a meeting on Friday with Commissioner,” sources said.
