Marriage fraudster arrested

TRIPUNITHURA: The Tripunithura Hill Palace Police on Wednesday arrested a person on charges of committing marriage fraud.  The person has been identified as Illathuparambil Naushad of Panangad. He was arrested from the residence of his third wife in North Paravur. According to the police, Naushad had married three women from Mathilakam, Kothamangalam and Palluruthi. Naushad has two children in his first marriage.  He was arrested following a complaint received from his second wife that he had escaped after stealing her gold anklet. Naushad will be produced before the court on Thursday.
