Maoist wanted by Jharkhand and Bihar Police arrested from Munger

A Maoist was arrested on Friday from a village under Darhara police station area in Bihar's Munger district, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a house in Khudivan village and arrested the ultra, identified as Sanjay Sharma, Munger range DIG Sudhanshu Kumar said.

Sharma, said to be a self-styled area commander of the CPI(Maoist), was wanted by the Bihar and Jharkhand Police in several cases, he said
