Mumbai: Actress Manisha Koirala, who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, had to undergo surgery in New York on Thursday, but it has now been postponed to December 10.
"The surgery was supposed to happen today (Thursday), but after conducting certain tests, the doctors have decided to postponed it to Monday (Dec 10)," Subroto Ghosh, Manisha's manager, told IANS.
Speculation swirled about her health last week after she was hospitalised in Mumbai on November 28. The rumours about her cancer are now confirmed.
The actress, who has worked in critically acclaimed films like 'Dil Se' and '1942: A Love Story', made her debut with 'Saudagar' in 1991. She recently made a comeback with Ram Gopal Varma's 'Bhoot Returns'.
