No one is born a criminal and few choose the path of crime deliberately, he said. DGP (Prisons) Alexander Jacob presided over the function. This was the fourth instance in the country of yoga being taught in jails and the first in Kerala, he said. The Tihar Jail in Delhi, Yerwada Jail in Maharashtra and the Gwalior Jail had successfully experimented with yoga. He also lauded the Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust for launching the initiative in Poojappura. The yoga classes, which form the 70th project of the Trust, are being offered for free.
