A day after he was reportedly detained in Pakistan in connection with the Pathankot terror attacks, an article by Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Maulana Mazood Azhar has been put online on the terror outfit's mouthpiece.
Azhar's article, published under pen name Saidi, states that there is a lot of "noise" coming from India regarding the JeM. "Pakistani leaders are anguished because we have disturbed intimacy with India. On judgment day, Pakistani leaders want to stand as friends of Narendra Modi, Atal Behari Vajpayee," it read.
In the article, Masood has vowed to not let his enemies celebrate. "God willing, this army won't let our enemies celebrate for long. God's army won't let my absence be felt at all," the article said.
The write-up also mentions that the road that the Pakistan government is taking against JeM is very dangerous for country.
He also said that the government action against mosques, madrasas are a danger to the unity of Pakistan.
While there was no official word, reports said that Pakistan had detained Maulana Masood Azhar, the terrorist accused of masterminding the recent Pathankot attack.
Azhar's brother Abdul Rehman Rauf and other members of the dreaded outfit too have been reportedly arrested and their offices have been sealed.
Azhar and two other terrorists were released from an Indian prison in 1999 in exchange for release of 155 passengers of an Indian Airlines plane to Kandahar.
After Azhar was freed, he fled to Pakistani territory. Though authorities there claimed ignorance about his whereabouts, Azhar addressed an estimated 10,000 people in Karachi where he vowed to "destroy America and India."
Azhar then formed the Jaish-e-Mohammed to carry out terror attacks in Kashmir.
