New Delhi: Extending its Optimus portfolio, LG has launched its 5-inch Optimus Vu smartphone in India at Rs 34,500. The phone runs Android 4.0 operating system, and is armed with a 1.5 GHz quad core processor.
The Optimus Vu features an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. Weighing 169g, the phone measures 139.6x90.4x8.5 mm. The phone has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. The phone has an internal storage of 32GB. the phone comes with 50GB of free cloud storage.
The Optimus Vu comes with a 2080mAh battery. Its connectivity options include WiFi, WiFi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. It comes with a rubberdium stylus, which is separate i.e., the phone does not have an internal slot to hold it. Bummer!
Though the Optimus Vu is light in weight, but the screen is too wide for a phone.
